Hello and Welcome
Talk Therapy
Talk therapy is generally a short term process which focuses on immediate issues that an individual may be facing at any given time. The main objective of talk therapy is to assist you in addressing difficult or distressing issues and providing support so that you can gain a richer understanding of yourself and gain control over difficulties that have emerged in life.
Teen/Adolescant Therapy
Adolescent therapy is a specialised mental health support system developed to work alongside young people during a time of signifiacnt change.
It provides a safe, confidential space to address anxiety, depression, self-harm, trauma whilst helping teens build coping skills, improve relationships, and manage emotions.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a collaborative, practical and problem oriented approach to emotional problems whereby the client and therapist work together toward understanding difficulties in terms of the relationship between thoughts, feelings, body responses and behaviour. CBT is based on the concept that how we think, how we act, how we feel and what we experience in our bodies all interact together. CBT is effective for a wide range of emotional problems from relationship problems, obsessive-compulsive disorder, social phobia, anxiety, depression, compulsive gambling and eating disorders.
